Kickboxing connects me to primal energy.
As young girls, we weren't typically encouraged to hit and kick things. To take up space or make noise. I grew up watching Princesses like Leia and Diana and I wanted to be like them!
I tapped back into that energy when I put my gloves on for the first time.
It's a great workout!
Kickboxing is a form of martial arts derived from karate. It borrows moves from multiple types of martial arts including Muay Thai and boxing. Kicks and punches are both used during kickboxing.
